Lewis Update

I know it has been so long. What can I say it has been busy around here. I have also had a little bit of writers block and not feeling that creative. So I will quickly update you on our family.

Kennedy is growing up so fast. I know I'm really biased, but she is turning into such a beautiful little girl. She is still extremely strong willed, but she is learning to communicate her feelings instead of throwing a tantrum. We are also able to (sometimes) reason with her. She loves to dance and sing. She even has pretty good moves. She loves gymnastics. She is growing so fast. She can be so sweet and cuddly. I am so proud of my beautiful daughter!

Kylie is still my petite princess. She finally made it over the 16lb mark. This is quite an accomplishment since she is almost 17 months! She is finally getting some hair and it seems to get lighter and lighter each day! She is slowly becoming more vocal. However, she is much more content to point and grunt! She has taken to climbing on everything just like her sister. The other day I found her in the bathroom sink. She is still very easy going, but has developed a little temper. However, her temper is more when her feelings are hurt. She likes to dance with her sister!
Brad is gearing up for fishing tournaments again this year. He is very excited to get started. He should be getting his own store sooner than later.
Brad and I just got back from our first child-free vacation. We went on a Cruise to Cozumel and Progresso. It was a lot of un. We had fun just hanging out! I am also happy to say that after much searching I think Brad and I have finally found a new church. We have been attending Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church in Allen. I am excited for us to get involved.
The last part of 2009 was hard for me. I know that God has really been working on me. At this point I still not completely sure what he is working on, but I am trying to let him have his way. I am not even sure where to begin. In October, one of my closet friends lost here 9 week old baby to SIDS. It was by far one of the hardest things. I cannot begin to understand her pain. I have to trust God. He knows better than we do. In November someone close to our family allowed Satan to use them to attack our family. It was extremely painful and forced Brad and I to make some very hard decision for our family. Needless to say I was very ready for the new year. Through all of this it was more reason to find a church home.
I discovered a new song that has become my anthem.

Though I cannot have the answer
that I'm wanting to demand,
I'll remember You are God
and everything is in Your hand.
In Your hands you hold the sun, the moon,
the stars up in the sky,
for the sake of Love, You hung Your own Son
on the cross...to die...

You are faithful...
Yes, You are faithful...
When you give and when You take away,
even then, great is Your faithfulness!
Great is Your faithfulness!
